one year later
hey all,
thought it would be a good idea to update this thing and catch everybody up with exactly what we have been doing this past year. last night we had what felt like a home game at the dag house stadium in cleveland, oh. our friends edhochuli and two hand fools also graced the basement floor.

note the "bichette happens" fan sign
we also played last at big whoop fest back in july 2012 in columbus ohio, which is the extension of berea fest, a diy fest held in the suburbs of cleveland ohio for the previous six summers. we have a video from bf5, in which we played first on the second day. andy's mom plays the national anthem on the flute, some claim it was reminiscent of hendrix at woodstock.

we put out our third tape which is a six minute epic (our longest to date) about the demise of a group of youngers playing ball after an untimely death of one of their own, "the ghostrunner". though his friends move on with their mundane lives, the ghostrunner still haunts the pathetic shopping mall that was built atop his grave. needless to say, the powers that be sicken his pure soul.
you can purchase this at shout out loud records.

and one last thing, we played our first game on a real baseball diamond back at the end of summer 2012. a group of kickball enthusiasts laced up their cleats for a heartfelt game as we played on.
want us to play a show email us at ryanstarinsky@hotmail.com take care, talk to you in a year or so.

opening day
as you all surely know, today is the first day of baseball season. what better time to make some predictions, who's going all the way and who's just going under. many people ask me about the pirates and whether this will be their year or not, being from pittsburgh and all, unfortunately, i don't think it will be, at least not until they turn their management around. i like the reds and the tigers, but i think when it comes down to it, the angels and the cardinals will square off in the only series that matters. i'll take the cardinals in 6, gotta stay true to the nl.
andy on the other hand, swears he sees potential in the reds this season. although, he might be a little ohio bias since almost every time we're in cincinnati he sits down with jay bruce for a cup of coffee. andy also picks the angels from the al, perhaps because he is a big danny glover fan, or maybe he just likes the bullpen. regardless, he stays true to his ohio roots and goes with the reds to take all the marbles and win the world series for the first time since 1990.
thanks for reading our predictions. if you have any of your own we'd love to hear them at our next show in your town.
sincerely,
ryan

Been a long off-season
We haven't played so many shows this winter but we've been writing new songs for the upcoming regular season. We're trying to win our division this year, but we can't do it without our fans. We have a preseason game tomorrow at BAT CHAPTERS, we're trying out a lot of new songs and it's ANDY's birthday!
FEB 18th @ BAT CHAPTERS
w/SHUT UP (dayton)
RCI (dayton)
WEAKNESS (cincinnati)
if you got andy pitching lessons this year, he won't need them though he might need a pair of new socks.
